Head down to the Searcy Certified Farmers Market held in the Courthouse Square Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Choose from a variety of locally grown produce, eggs, meat, and locally-produced goods.

Reserve your tee time at River Oaks Golf Club. Enjoy 18 holes and a driving range in this scenic setting.

Take a trip back in time at Pioneer Village The collection of 19th-century buildings, farm implements, and other historical items is open daily for self-guided tours along with guided tours and other events.

Experience one of the most popular destinations for locals and tourists−Art Alley. Open day and night, witness live painting on the first Friday of every month.

Little Red River is a great spot for kayaking or hiking at the Bald Knob National Wildlife Refuge.

Ready for a road trip? There are myriad destinations throughout the state, including Ouachita and Ozark Mountains, the Buffalo National River, Hot Springs National Park, Blanchard Springs Caverns, Mount Magazine State Park, Crater of Diamonds State Park, and the Mississippi River Delta. Be sure to explore some of these natural wonders during your assignment.
