Trends in elder care and artificial intelligence were just two of the many topics attendees discussed at the 2023 Perspectives on Florida’s Healthcare presented by Broward Health and Excellence in Healthcare Wards™. Organized by the Chamber’s Healthcare Council, the event brought together South Florida healthcare leaders to recognize and award excellence in our healthcare community and deliberate on trends, challenges, and innovations. MedPro’s Senior Vice President of Client Services and Chief Clinical Officer Rosemarie Aznavorian, DNP, RN, CENP, CCWP, CCRN-K, Senior Vice President of Workforce Solutions Dan Barren, and Director of MedPro University Rory Rochelle attended the event.
Highlights included the Excellence in Healthcare Awards Luncheon, which recognized multiple individuals for their efforts, starting with the Outstanding Healthcare Executive Maria Hernandez from United Way of Broward County. After the luncheon, panel discussions on trends in elder care and artificial intelligence and a CEO panel answering questions on the current and future state of the industry were held. Aznavorian and Barren also got a chance to speak with attendees and share the benefits of working with MedPro to meet facilities’ staffing needs.
